Specifics:
Comp Environmental (CE) has been awarded two consecutive IDIQ terms since 2015. CE ensures operational efficiency, minimizes downtime, and extends the lifespan of essential assets, maintaining them at optimal performance levels. Through its well-structured program, CE supports the WWTP's overall reliability.
CE has delivered both physical and robotic preventative maintenance on multiple water tanks to ensure optimal operational readiness. An initial physical inspection in the base year, followed by robotic system inspections in the option years, detect and address any signs of wear, sedimentation, corrosion, or structural damage.

  • Fort Meade SCIF Building 4553 Asbestos Abatement and Restoration, Laurel, Maryland, for the Army at $3M – Construction Services: The asbestos abatement and restoration project at the occupied Building 4553 was crucial for ensuring the safety and health of all personnel. Specialized teams meticulously abated asbestos in sections of the building, adhering to stringent safety and environmental protocols to mitigate any risk of exposure. The project transitioned smoothly into the restoration phase, section by section, maintaining SCIF
    accreditation.
  •  Everglades National Park Long Pine Day Use and Campground Area Water Main Replacement, Homestead, Florida, for the National Park Services at $850K – Construction Services: This project focused on replacing asbestos-cement (AC) pipes with modern, durable HDPE pipes in the Long Pine area of Everglades National Park. It enhanced the water supply system’s reliability and safety for visitors and adhered to environmental protection and sustainability goals. CE implemented advanced engineering solutions and environmentally friendly practices, ensuring a sustainable water future for the park with minimal impact on the natural surroundings.
  • Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station (WCDAS) Electrical Enhancement, Wallops Island, Virginia, for NOAA at $112K – Integrated Automation and Control: The objective was to upgrade critical electrical components by replacing outdated PLC controllers and HDMI interfaces in the redundant switchgear systems. This enhancement significantly improved the reliability and efficiency of data management and operational controls, facilitating seamless environmental monitoring and analysis. CE’s team, with careful and thoughtful planning, executed the replacements flawlessly, enabling the switchgear to resume operations immediately afterward.
